Euclide (in greco: Ευκλείδης, Eukleides) esseva un mathematico e geometro grec, qui viveva circa le anno 300 a. C. usque 265 a. C. Ille es cognoscite como le "Patre del Geometria".

Su vita es pauc cognoscite, excepte que ille viveva in Alexandria, Egypto. Proclo, le ultimo del grande philososphos grec, qui viveva circa 450 a. C., es le principal fonte re su vita in le lingua grec.

Su obra, le Elementos, es un del obras scientific plus cognoscite del mundo e esseva un recompilation del cognoscimento impartite in le centro academic.
