Le Cathedral de Canterbury[1] in Canterbury, Kent es un del ecclesias plus ancian e famose in Anglaterra. Illo es le cathedral del Archiepiscopo de Canterbury, le chef del Ecclesia de Anglaterra e le chef symbolic del Communion Anglican. Su titulo official es le Cathedral e Ecclesia Metropolitan de Christo a Canterbury.
Fundate in 597, le cathedral era restruite completemente ab 1070 usque 1077. Le cathedral deveniva un loco popular de pelegrinage, a causa del assassination de Archiepiscopo Thomas Becket illac in 1170. Post un incendio in 1174, le section del est era restruite con architectura gothic e augmentate. Le resto del cathedral era restruite in le seculo 14.
