Bulfighting vs tauromachy

Hey Julian, Synthebot confuses two different notions and thus mislinks articles in different languages. Bullfighting & tauromachy are one and same article in english (probably creating the problem), but other languages make a difference between (French for example) Tauromachie & Corrida (corrida is only a form of tauromachy, among others). I've just reverted some edits on fr.wp by Synthebot creating inappropriate interwikis. Cheers. --Jibi44 (talk) 15:40, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Hi Jibi44, thank you for the message. It seems to me that apparently almost all the wikipedias have one single article for both topics. There are some exceptions: the French wikipedia, the Italian wikipedia, and the Spanish wikipedia. In the French one, fr:tauromachie is almost a disambiguation page, while fr:corrida has most the shared content with the other wikipedias. In the Italian one, it:tauromachia is a stub that refers only to the historical tauromachy, and it:corrida has most of the content. In the Spanish one, es:tauromaquia is an article that takes both concepts together, as the other wikipedias, while es:corrida de toros only takes one of the topics, but much deeper.

Anyway, thanks for contacting me, I won't touch those interwiki links at the moment.

By the way, I'm sure you understand some Interlingua. If you interested in learning it, please let me know.
