In mathematica, un sequentia es un listamento finite o infinite de objectos mathematic, sovente numeros.
a {\displaystyle a} es un sequentia :⇔ {\displaystyle :\Leftrightarrow } a {\displaystyle a} es un function con I m ( a ) ⊆ N ∧ ∀ n ∈ N ( n + 1 ∈ I m ( a ) ⇒ n ∈ I m ( a ) ) {\displaystyle \mathrm {Im} (a)\subseteq \mathbb {N} \;\wedge \;\forall n\in \mathbb {N} \;\;{\big (}n+1\in \mathrm {Im} (a)\Rightarrow n\in \mathrm {Im} (a){\big )}}
( a i ) i = 0 n = ( a 0 , a 1 , a 2 , … , a n ) {\displaystyle {\big (}a_{i}{\big )}_{i=0}^{n}=(a_{0},a_{1},a_{2},\dots ,a_{n})} es un sequentia finite.
( a i ) i = 0 ∞ = ( a 0 , a 1 , a 2 , … ) {\displaystyle {\big (}a_{i}{\big )}_{i=0}^{\infty }=(a_{0},a_{1},a_{2},\dots )} es un sequentia infinite.
