Julia Carolyn Child, nate Julia Carolyn McWilliams (Pasadena, CA le 15 de augusto 1912 – Montecito, CA le 13 de augusto 2004), era un autor de libros de cocina, un cocinero televisate e (in le Secunde Guerra Mundial) un agente del OSS, le antecessor del CIA. Illa deveniva famose pro su libro de cocina Mastering the Art of French Cooking in 1961 e in 1962 comenciava su prime show de television inseniante cocina.[1][2]
