Ai Weiwei (chinese: 艾未未, in pinyin: Ài Wèiwèi); nascite in Beijing le 28 de augusto 1957) es un artista e activista chinese.[1] Ai collaborava con le architectos switze Herzog & de Meuron como assessor artistic del Stadio National de Beijing pro le Jocos Olympic de 2008.[2] Como activista politic, ille apertemente criticava le postura del governamento chinese super democratia e derectos human. Ille investigava le corruption e le incobramentos del governamento, in particular le scandalo de corruption del scholas de Sichuan que segueva le seismo de Sichuan de 2008.[3] In 2011, post esser arrestate in le Aeroporto International de Beijing le 3 de april, ille esseva detenite durante 81 dies sin cargos official.
