Huicundomantis es un subgenere del genere de ranas (en) Pristimantis (en). Iste ranas vive in le Andes inter Ecuador e Peru.
Etymogogia
[modificar | modificar fonte]Huicundo es un parola Quechua indicante plantas del familia Bromeliaceae ubi vive iste ranas.
Historia
[modificar | modificar fonte]Le subgenere es definite in 2019 per Páez & Ron con P. philipi, le gruppo de species P. cryptomelas (P. cryptomelas, P. gagliardoi, P. muscosus, P. nangaritza, P. spinosu) e le gruppo de species P. phoxocephalus (P. atillo, P. atratus, P. chomskyio, P. glorio, P. hampatusami, P. jimenezio, P. lutzaeo, P. multicoloro, P. phoxocephalus, P. teslaio, P. tinguichaca, P. torresio, P. totoroio, P. versicolor, P. verrucolatuso, Pristimantis sp. (CCS1) e Pristimantis sp. (CCS2)).
In 2022 le gruppo de species P. miktos (P. mallii, P. miktos e P. tamia) es adjungite per Ortega et al..[1]
