Probabilemente "Handel" in vice de "Haendel", non? Rothorpe 03:23, 23 decembre 2011 (UTC)[responder]

Le german es "Händel" e isto appare esser usate le plus communmente in le Wikipedias de altere linguas. "Haendel" appare esser usate solmente in francese, e "Handel" in altere linguas quando "Händel" non se usa. Probabilemente "Händel" es le plus bon, sequite per "Handel" si necessari. "Haendel" pote esser mentionate como un nota. Illo es mi opinion in alicun caso. :) Usageunit 04:13, 23 decembre 2011 (UTC)[responder]
Si, sed in le WP anglese, dice: "Unassimilated foreign loanwords, or borrowed words, are pronounced and spelled as in their language of origin. Their spelling may contain diacritics, or accent marks. If the diacritics do not affect pronunciation, they are removed." Ergo, io pensa que "Handel" debe esser le forma melior. De accordo? Rothorpe 17:36, 23 decembre 2011 (UTC)[responder]
(Sorry I don't speak Interlingua. I agree if some would remove my post. But thanks in advance to anyone who meanwhile could translate it into Interlingua).
I fully agree with Rothorpe 23 dec 11. I am french, I love Haendel, his music, the way ("Haendel") we write and pronounce his name in French, yet we are the only to write it so. According to Wikipedia EN, he was « baptised Georg Friedrich Händel », « In Italy he spelled it Hendel, as it is pronounced in German », « From the time he arrived in England, however, he consistently signed his name as George Frideric Handel », and « The original form of his name, Georg Friedrich Händel, is generally used in Germany and elsewhere, but he is known as "Haendel" in France ».
We French being the only to use our darling writing "Haendel", I would prefer to drop it, no matter how I am attached to it, to join the seek of universality of Interlingua, English language, and Handel himself in his music and in his name.
Notice that Wikipedia DE writes it multiple inconsistent ways, including both "georg Friedrich Handelf" and "George Frideric Handel".
So the writing best respecting the majority of European usage, and at the same time the author's longer and last choice, is IMO the one already joined by Wikipedia EN, George Frideric Handel.
